John F. Kennedy Character Education Student Recognition Program

Character Education is celebrated at John F. Kennedy elementary school. At J.F.K we build character everyday. From day one, our Character Kids Program is in full swing! Every morning we begin with a character building message that Mrs. Van Liew reads over the PA system. Each month we focus on one theme. students from select classrooms will be making character quotes each morning over the PA system based on the pillar that month. We encourage all our students to exhibit good character on a daily basis. 

One student each month from each class will be selected for demonstrating the pillar of our character education program for that month. The student will earn an “Eagle Wings” certificate presented by the teacher. This will be celebrated in each individual classroom every month.
